What is a Clinical Herbalist?
My training as a clinical herbalist focuses on supporting a person's whole state of well-being, mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. This includes examining, investigating and removing obstacles to one's vital life power and ultimately addressing the root cause of disease or imbalance.
While I am trained to assist my clients relieve symptoms, my role is to honor nature’s vital intelligence by supporting the body’s natural healing abilities, including in situations of acute and chronic illness.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment?
Please provide at minimum 48 hours in advance for appointments that need to be rescheduled or cancelled. If you reschedule or cancel within the 48 hour time frame, you will be charged a $35 cancellation fee.
Where are sessions held?
Currently, I hold all sessions online via Skype which is a free online video calling service.
Do you facilitate in-person sessions?
Currently due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I am not offering sessions in-person. I hope to have in-person options available later in 2021. Stay tuned!
I am interested in either a sliding-scale session or payment plan. How do I go about signing up for such a thing?
Please fill out a brief application that outlines your financial need. You can locate the application HERE. Please clarify if you are applying for a payment plan or sliding-scale sessions. If signing up for a payment plan this document will also serve as the contract for you paying each payment.
Please Note: In order to run a financially sustainable business, the number of sliding-scale consultations is limited each quarter. These sessions will be given first priority to folks with intersectionality of low-income, BIPOC and womxn, although sliding-scale is open to all who apply.
Who do you work with?
Primarily I work with clients who are assigned female at birth and non-cis men who are experiencing things like menstrual complaints, digestive imbalances, auto-immune disorders, hormone imbalance, sleeping complaints, chronic dis-ease, chronic pain, acute issues, and much more. With that said, I have clinical training in the Vitalist Western Herbalism traditions and am trained to support all bodies.
